Unable to connect Nokia Lumia 510 to PC using USB

Yesterday I purchased brand new Nokia Lumia 510 which has Windows 7 mango OS with full touchscreen feature. When I tried to connect Lumia 510 to my computer it just simply won't gets recognized by PC. I tried to connect it using USB but no response would show up on PC or neither on Phone.
I want to transfer some images alongwith music & video files from my computer to Lumia510....
Please guide me how can I connect Nokia Luima 510 to PC using USB......??

You need to download & install zune software on your PC  to connect your Windows Phone to computer using a USB cable...
When you have installed Zune, for the first sync the phone must be connected through a compatible USB data cable to your PC. On your computer, open Zune, and follow the displayed instructions.
